These terms cover your use of ingress.tools, run by ingress.tools. By using the site you agree to them, and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
A fan project
ingress.tools is an independent fan project. Ingress is a trademark of Niantic, Inc.; this site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Niantic. Playing Ingress is governed by Niantic's own terms, and using any tool here does not change them. Use the site and the IITC plugin in a way that keeps you within Niantic's rules.
Accounts
- Accounts are invite-only. An invite is for the person it was given to.
- Register with your real agent name, keep your password and plugin API key private, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can archive your account at any time from your profile, or email support@ingress.tools to have it deleted.
- We may archive or remove accounts, invites or content that break these terms or put the site or other players at risk.
What you post
- You keep ownership of the plans and other content you post. You let us store and show it as the site needs to, for example showing a public plan to everyone.
- Only post passcodes, portals and plans that are accurate as far as you know. No spam, fake codes, or other players' personal information.
- No harassment, and nothing illegal.
Acceptable use
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the site's security, rate limits or bot checks.
- Don't scrape the site in bulk, or resell its data.
- The API is for the official ingress.tools IITC plugin.
No guarantees
The site is provided "as is". Passcodes may already be redeemed, expired or fully used; calculations are estimates; and the site may be down or change at any time. To the extent the law allows, ingress.tools is not liable for any loss from using the site, including anything that happens to your Ingress account.
Ads
The site shows ads to cover its costs. See the privacy policy for how ads use cookies.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the changes.
